Experience

• I began my career in criminal justice during law school as a legal intern at the Office of the Lake County, Ohio, Prosecuting Attorney, writing appeals.  Upon graduation I joined the Lake County Public Defender Office, serving ultimately as Chief Assistant and Chief of Appeals.  An active litigation office, I wrote briefs on appeal and for cert in the  Supreme Court of the United States including Ohio v. Roberts, 448 U.S. 56 (1978),  and argued in the Ohio Supreme Court 5 times before entering private practice.
  
• Completed National College for Criminal Defense, 1981. (at Univ. of Houston).
  
• Admitted to the New York Bar in 1985,
  
• I have focused my career solely on defense of serious crimes as well as personal injury cases.
